Gabry’s logic leaves a few things to be desired sometimes.

I think it has more to do with the fact that Liam doesn’t seem the type to just jump someone. It’s not like they’ve had much time to bond on an emotional level, plus Gabry is clearly in an emotional state where doing that would be a terrible idea. He’d think Liam only wants him for his body. Liam is attracted to Gabry, but he would never want to do anything that would hurt him. He cares for Gabry, only Gabry can’t see that just yet.
Honestly I would be more worried if Liam was attracted to someone who, so far, has demonstrated himself to be a fellow assassin, have poor boundary issues, shit taste in men, and be dumb enough to jump out in front of a van. I think/hope we’ve got a long way to go yet before that point.

I love the sickly colouring of Gabry’s skin in the past couple of pages, and how everything is darker. It really adds to the story.
