I've just realized something about Liam, he actually has glasses. Ones that do something other than act as a sun block, I mean. So now I have a question that's seriously bugging me, were the yellow ones from earlier the glasses type of glasses, or just sunglasses? I mean, if he needs glasses, it would be odd to wear sunglasses to somewhere that you have to kill zombies. Or anything for that matter.
Also, *ahem* the title for this page gave me the completely wrong idea.
IRL, snipers sometimes use yellow tinted glasses to trick their brains into thinking it’s still kind of daytime, so they can stay awake for long periods of time.
So usually they’re worn at dawn, dusk and night-time.
The implication was he'd either suck at short range or long range combat without 'em (or worse, be Blind Without 'Em), depending on which he needs glasses for. In other words, you don't wear sunglasses if you need glasses and want to drive a car (or, in Liams case, kill things), because you'll end up driving right up someones ass (or being a human sized snack can).
…Hopefully that last part didn't come out wrong, but you get the idea.

I hear tinted glasses can be good to wear at night– they give everything a little more definition, reduce glares from street lights, help preserve nightvision, things like that.
… Just googled tinted glasses to make sure the both of you didn't mean sunglasses. I had no idea you even -could- tint glasses. Now that I've dramatically embarassed myself on the internet, I'm off to buy some tinted sniper glasses.
