So I decided I’m going to update SP on fridays from here on out. I’ll still be taking donations but I’m going to have different prizes from month to month starting in June. You can read more details on the matter here: http://sinpararse.skyscrapersoup.com/2012/05/13/okay/
If anyone has any questions I’ll try to answer them in the comments on that post.
Someone in this comic IS going to see the rest of him.
Stole him from a brothel?
Gabry I'm not sure that sounded how you thought it sounded…
Milosh looks so disapproving in the fourth panel.
…at least, I really hope that's disapproval. It would be a shame if it's just a general hatred of Nai'ka.
Gabry, I don't think "stole him from a brothel" is going to help make your case.
Bruised guy who just stole a wise-cracking Nai'ka from a brothel…
It's not what it looks like!
What the hell does it look like?!
I was wondering why Milosh looked weird and then I realized he has no crows feet in any of the panels… Small details make a big change for me xD
Ohgod, your right. And is it just me, or did he get shorter? Somebody make Milosh look old again! …It looked better.
On a slightly unrelated note: I re-read Cuanta Vida recently, and I noticed something. Milosh is supposed to be the previous spy to Jordi in CV, right? When you see his corpse (or his corpses arm anyway) in CV, his skin that isn't charred is really pale, and Milosh in the TWIYEH universe is like the tan man or something (sure, dead people do go pale, but I wouldn't have thought he'd get that pale).
To be absolutely fair, though, that arm you saw was drawn in 2008 with no real character behind it.
True, but it's not like the page was lost forever that no one could ever see again. I can see how the details would be forgotten, but you can still build on a character drawn in 2008 with no real character behind except what was seen and known.
As in, previous spy to Jordi, burnt to death (or at least his arm was), probably didn't have a tan, his equipment wasn't that good according to Jordi, friends with Jeremy, etc.
Oh Gabry, with each panel you make the conversation that much more awkward.
"… let us finish what we started."
Suddenly pants. Pants flying everywhere.
