I really want to see more of Avery. I mean, yeah, he's an asshole, but he's an interesting asshole. I can tell. I get really attached to characters like that.
At least Avery's conscious that Gabry's decisions affect him. Even if it is selfish in nature, he does look concerned in the last panel.

I don't normally hate things irrationally, but…Avery? Seriously, fuck that guy.
And then page 28 and this one show up and gives me a wierd feeling inside. You know what I think this feeling is called? Good writng, that's what.

Are people starting to like Avery? Because I felt like the only guy who liked Red Death back in CV.
I think we all liked Rojo. By that I mean we liked him in a love-to-hate-him kind of way.
Man, Rojo was and is my favorite character in CV. That magnificent bastard.
I never understood what "love to hate" was like untill we met Avery, though. Asshole.
I hated Rojo, seriously hated, in an I'm-naseous-just-thinking-about-it way. But I want to be sympathetic to Avery, weirdly. I guess because his only crime is being a douchebag to Gabry, which sucks but I think hints at some really tragic/interesting character development. IDK.
I liked Rojo. So far, he's been the best villain in any of the three comics. He was basically the evil, mirror universe Jordi.

Avery…i don't know. He's more annoying than anything so far.
I love Gabry's expression and posture in the third panel. Seems almost childish xD
I don't know if this has been ask/answered yet, but is Avery perhaps the RED scout before James the same way Milosh was the BLU spy before Jordi? I don't know, just that red shirt made me ponder.

i dont know if intentional or not but Avery's jacket is like the tunnel snake jacket from fallout 3!
