His accent wasn't phonetically spelled out, it was never very thick.
His word choice in this is slightly more americanized, but otherwise his accent is the same.

Yes, and Gabry's still Italian. By Americanized I don't mean that he's American, just that he's more assimilated into American culture.

Yeah I like how this scene gives you everything you need to know about Gabry without actually telling you his backstory, motivations, or anything. Show, don't tell. Very nice.
