Sin Pararse is a comic drawn based on donations the site receives. It tells the backstory of Liam and Gabriele, two popular characters in Cuanta Vida and Worst Idea. The comic itself is set in the Worst Idea universe.
Anyone who donates at least $1 via paypal will get a high resolution copy of the current page. The older pages are archived here. A new page will go up when the site accumulates $50 in donations.
Questions:
I sent a donation, how do I see the comic?
-I will email it to you, using your paypal email account. I don’t currently have a good way to automate this, so I will email it to you as soon as possible, there will be slight delays based upon thing like sleep and times I have to be out of the house for extended periods. If you don’t get it within 48 hours, the message either failed to go through or I’ve somehow missed your donation. In this event email me at secretcollect(at)gmail.com with some kind of proof of your donation and I’ll send you another copy.
If you’re one of the first people to donate after I hit the goal amount it may take longer if I’m still drawing the comic. So far this hasn’t been an issue though, as I tend to stay at least a page or two ahead at all times.
What does Sin Pararse mean?
-Literally: “Without Stopping”
Like Cuanta Vida, it’s Spanish and comes from the title of a song. In this case Sin Pararse is a collaboration between Gabry Ponte and Ye Man. The chorus goes:
Y baila, baila sin pararse, sin pararse
Como mi amor por ti
Roughly translated it means:
And dance, dance without stopping, without stopping
Like my love for you
It is a very catchy and upbeat song, I like it a lot.
I sent a donation but didn’t receive an email with the comic. Where is it? Will you send me another?
-Yes, but first I need to confirm that you actually sent a donation. It just wouldn’t be fair to actual donators if non-donators could get the comic just by claiming they sent a donation.
If this happens contact me via email (secretcollect(at)gmail.com) or via private message on Deviantart or Y! Gallery and send me paypal information (name, email, etc.) A screencap of your receipt will also help speed up this process. The sooner I can confirm the donation the sooner I can send out the comic.
